The Best Swiss Precimax Watches of 2020: Swiss Precimax Reviews

Swiss Precimax Men’s SP13043 Verto Pro – The Overall Best

Swiss Precimax Men's SP13043 Verto Pro

Let’s start with the most successful model from Swiss Precimax – the SP13043 Verto Pro.

After the model’s market arrival in 2013, it gained huge popularity within a short period. In fact, some say that SP13043 Verto Pro started the new journey of Swiss Precimax.

This model features all the premium traits that you would seek in a luxury or a top-quality watch.

First of all, you are getting the Swiss quartz movement – the best option you can find to date. Then, there are three chronograph sub-dials and a tachymeter.

So, there’s nothing to complain about the accuracy and precision of the watch.

On top of that, you are getting a complete stainless-steel finish that ensures highest-grade durability and physical strength. Plus, the shatter and scratch-proof protector is a huge bonus.

Overall, I would call it an all-rounder with very little room to complain.

There’s one issue, though. The watch is on the heavier side. The large case diameter and the hefty weight could be an issue for a lot of people.

Other than that, it’s perfect!

Swiss Precimax Men’s SP13016 Marauder Pro – The Sleek Option

Swiss Precimax Men's SP13016 Marauder Pro

The next watch on the list, Swiss Precimax Men’s SP13016 Marauder Pro, is also stacked with tons of features and ensures top-end durability.

It’s a good and a bad thing all at the same time!

The good thing is that you are getting all the great features – Swiss quartz movement, three chronograph sub-dials, and the superior build materials.

The bad thing is that the features are too similar!

Well, technically, Swiss Precimax has made some changes,

For example, the color combination is more contrasty here. The orange-black combo feels punchier.

Plus, the overall look is smoother. The stationary bezel creates a smooth finish here. Also, the buttons are smaller.

If you prefer cleaner looks, the SP13016 Marauder Pro will come on top of the SP13043 Verto Pro.

However, there is a shortcoming.

This model lacks the tachymeter. It’s not like that people use tachymeter all the time, or it’s a super-important feature. But, just to let you know, it doesn’t have it.

Swiss Precimax Women’s SP12079 Desire Elite Diamond Mother-Of-Pearl – The Luxurious Ladies’ Watch

Swiss Precimax Women's SP12079 Desire Elite Diamond Mother-Of-Pearl

If you are into luxury and fashion, Swiss Precimax Women’s SP12079 Desire Elite Diamond Mother-Of-Pearl will amaze you!

Why?

This premium option from Swiss Precimax comes with 16 diamonds and 40 Swarovski crystals on it!

Yes, 16 diamonds!

Plus, the backdrop of the dial features the Mother-of-Pearl finish. This unique material gives the background a sophisticated gradient look.

But don’t even think that the watch lacks functionality!

You’re getting the Swiss quartz movement, 3-dial chronograph, and the shatterproof display.

So, what’s the catch?

Well, I think you’ve guessed already – the price.

The diamonds and the crystals are enough to increase the price. Plus, comes the cost of high-end mechanisms.

It’s only reasonable to price the watch this high. Still, it could be an issue if you are on a tight budget.

Swiss Precimax Men’s SP12171 Deep Blue Pro II – The Sporty Option

Swiss Precimax Men's SP12171 Deep Blue Pro II

If you are more into the sporty looks, Swiss Precimax Men’s SP12171 Deep Blue Pro II should be on your radar.

When I first saw this model, I could only think of one word – bold!

The dial itself is not that large, but it features a thick bezel with large minute markers. You’ll love the rose gold- grey-black color combination.

Due to the choice of color, you can also rock this sporty watch as a formal one.

Swiss Precimax made an interesting design choice with the crown on the right side. The crown sitting in the middle looks identical to the other two buttons. Plus, the unidirectional bezel feels excellent.

Such subtle things make the SP12171 Deep Blue Pro II stand apart.

There’s no change in the specs-list as Swiss Precimax doesn’t compromise with quality.

The weight is a major letdown of this model, just other watches from this maker.

Swiss Precimax Men’s SP13020 Marauder Pro – The Minimalist Option

Swiss Precimax Men's SP13020 Marauder Pro

This is another variant of the same Marauder Pro collection that I’ve mentioned in the second place.

Swiss Precimax Men’s SP13020 Marauder Pro also celebrates slender design philosophy with more minimalism. Some of the customers felt the orange-black color combination to be more suitable for the younger crowd.

It’s understandable.

But Swiss Precimax Men’s SP13020 Marauder Pro offers a more mature color combination to attract “the men.”

Rather than offering punchy neon orange color, it comes with a glossy silver band with a rose-gold bezel.

It looks classier and more aristocratic.

But it lacks the tachymeter just like other Marauder Pro watches.

Swiss Precimax Men’s SP13035 Verto Pro – Most Feature-heavy Option

Swiss Precimax Men's SP13035 Verto Pro

This is another variant of the top-position holding the Verto Pro series. Some of you might feel that SP13043 Verto Pro is too colorful, and it’s true.

Swiss Precimax also thought about this issue.

That’s why they launched Swiss Precimax Men’s SP13035 Verto Pro to celebrate the classic red-black combination.

Apart from this new design choice, there’s no difference. You’re getting all the features, with the tachymeter and everything!

Is Swiss Precimax a Good Brand?

There is a fair share of controversies and conspiracies regarding the Swiss Precimax watches. Some Swiss Precimax watches reviews can’t stop praising the brand while others swear that the watches are cheap and fake!

So, which is it?

Well, to know the truth, you’ll have to take a history lesson.

The company, Precimax, started their journey more than half a century ago, in 1933, to be precise.

The Swiss brand aimed to create the finest quality of timepieces that signifies both luxury and precision.

However, the brand disappeared due to some unknown reasons.

At the beginning of the 21st century, the company revived and started to work to regain the former glory.

The company offers two categories of watches – Swiss Precimax and Precimax.

The Precimax collection focuses mainly on designing affordable watches. To offer affordable pricing, this collection uses the Chinese quartz movement, alloy casing, poor water resistance feature, etc.

Otherwise, the brand can’t set such low prices for these watches.

It’s only fair.

On the other hand, Swiss Precimax series is the flagship collection. They have stacked all the top-end components and materials in this collection.

For example, all the watches from the Swiss Precimax collection features the Swiss quartz movement. The engineering team puts maximum effort into offering flawless watches.

So, if someone is saying that the brand offers cheap, break-prone watches, they are mainly talking about the Precimax collection. Not the other way around.

The bottom line?

If we are talking about Swiss Precimax only, the brand (or the sub-brand) is GREAT!

What Do We Like About Swiss Precimax Brand?

As the name suggests, Swiss Precimax is devoted towards offering maximum precision.

With every Swiss Precimax watch, you are getting the ensuring of highest-grade technologies and material choices.

The number one positive thing about the watches is the accuracy of the Swiss quartz movement. If you are a watch-lover like me, you’d know that the Swiss quartz is the golden standard of the watch movement.

Yes, some of the watches from the Precimax series come with Japanese automatic movement. But that’s a different chapter.

Then comes the choice of material for casing, bezel, and band. Swiss Precimax is using surgical-grade stainless steel in this case. SS is also the highest standard of material choice as it ensures ruggedness and durability.

The only exception here is the Swiss Precimax Women’s SP12079 Desire Elite Diamond Mother-Of-Pearl Dial Watch, which features a ceramic band.

With a stainless steel body and scratch cum shatterproof glass protector, barely anything can happen to your watch.

Then comes the issue of luxury features.

Swiss Precimax watches come with three sub-dial chronograph feature and a date-display. I’ve seen these two premium features in the lion’s share of models.

Some watches even come with a tachymeter embedded on the bezel. I guess that’s a huge plus point.

So, let’s sum things up!

Swiss Precimax offers high-quality movement, durability, and top-shelf features.

Thumbs up!

What Don’t We Like About This Brand?

Well, don’t think otherwise, Swiss Precimax comes with a fare-share of negative traits too.

First of all, all the models look too similar to each other.

For example, all the models have the three chronograph sub-dials on the same exact spot. Then, the date-display is positioned somewhere between the 4 o’clock to 5 o’clock marker.

Even all the watches tend to follow the same bulky casing with an SS chain design philosophy.

The designs are too homogenous.

This brings the next issue – the bulkiness.

Every one of the watches from today’s Swiss Precimax review has a 48mm case diameter (except the ladies’ watch). In plain English, these watches are huge, too huge!

If you have a thin wrist, you should probably avoid it.

Also, weight is a massive issue for Swiss Precimax. Their watches can be more than one-pound (450gm+) in weight!

Very few watches in the market are this much heavy.

The final, in my mind, is regarding the water-resistance performance. This is where Swiss Precimax disappointed me. Their watches have either a 50m or 100m water resistance rating.

That means you can take it with you while swimming or maybe during snorkeling (don’t recommend). But you MUST AVOID having it while diving.

Conclusion

Thus, ends my take on the Swiss Precimax reviews. But what about the winners? Which model will hold the winning trophy?

I think it’s pretty clear!

Swiss Precimax Men’s SP13043 Verto Pro holds the top position. Then, Swiss Precimax Men’s SP13016 Marauder Pro in the second place.

And finally, Swiss Precimax Women’s SP12079 Desire Elite Diamond Mother-Of-Pearl wins as best Swiss Precimax Women Watch.
